Project Overview
We are driving a groundbreaking project introducing a robotic coffee bar. This project involves collaboration among four teams: storytelling, design, development, and robotics.
Our system offers an innovative approach where, upon customer orders, robots operate the coffee machine accordingly and prepare the coffee for pickup based on the order details.
Project Purpose
This group of students was given the educational opportunity to bring an idea from inception to execution. In the age of rapid development of AI, we aim to de-stigmatize robots and demonstrate how code can transform into a friendly face. This collaborative Capstone project fostered an environment of camaraderie, strategy, and adaptability, leveraging human-centered design concepts to bring BrewBot to life.
This interdisciplinary team of students is from Hussman School of Journalism and Media, SILS School of Information and Library Science, and Kenan Flagler Business School.
